ABOUT
Ella Costache – romanian artist from Bucharest, currently living in London. Her practice spans themes centered around larger notions of identity such as womanhood, cultural backgrounds and bodily depictions, tracing the way these translate into tangible visual outlets. At the intersecton of fashion and visual culture, Ella’s photographic work employs a number of recurring devices and visual preferences: pattern repetition, color scheming, rawness and materiality. She tends to think of her work as more explorative rather than conclusive.
