CheVeaux combines two French linguistical elements: HAIR, the core of this project and the conjugation of the verb “vouloir”, shaping the desire of integration within the borders imposed by the society.

CheVeaux presents a current topic, having as prime theme the debate on physical appearance and the way the society objectifies this depending on the person’s hair, as well as addressing the symbolism of this way of thinking.

The project debates the ways of representing hair within the history of art, but also within the historical context. Thus, it will present the manner of use and understanding of hair, the way the artist uses it as a detail or as a prime element alongside it’s anthropological meaning.
